How to find Dean Hill Park, Salisbury
Dean Hill enjoys excellent train services from Dean Station, a five minute walk from the site, to both Southampton to the south and Salisbury and Bristol to the north, with connections to London (Waterloo) taking less than two hours.
The main A36 Salisbury-Southampton road is some 4 miles to the west and the A30 Salisbury-London about 8 miles to the north. Alternative transport, including car sharing and bicycles will be encouraged and there is a regular bus service past the front gate.
From the A303: head south to Broughton on the B3084. One mile south of Broughton turn right signposted Lockerley, continue 1-1/2 miles and turn left at the T-junction. After 2 miles turn right to West Dean. Dean Hill Park is on the left after 1 1/2 miles.
From Salisbury: leave Salisbury on the A36 travelling south to the first junction signed West Grimstead, continue throught West Grimstead bearing right at the T-junction after 3 miles. At West Dean, turn right before the river and continue one third of a mile. Dean Hill Park is on the right.
From Dean railway station (on foot): Turn left on leaving the railway station. After 100m cross a river bridge and turn left signposted East Dean. Dean Hill Park will be found on the right after one third of a mile.
